In 2009 Agape's passion for design, and the long standing collaboration with Angelo Mangiarotti, culminated in the establishment of Agapecasa, dedicated to the re-edition of the original and timeless pieces of one of the greatest masters of post-war Italian design and architecture.
Agapecasa has been trusted with exclusive production right from the archives of Angelo Mangiarotti. The "Mangiarotti Collection" is a series of original furniture designed from the early 50s onward: classic designs, carefully tested and updated according to Studio Mangiarotti.
CAP53 vaso Agapecasa
With the CAP53 vases, Angelo Mangiarotti returned to working with bronze. The ancient technique of "lost-wax" casting draws closer to its original field, the production of sculptures. The design of the vases is built on the principle that, in section, two circles of different diameter, moving along the vertical axes, can originate a great number of different objects.
Given the artistic importance of the process, the vases have a limited production of just 100 signed and numbered pieces per model.
