Montana Furniture, established in 1982, is specializes in furniture for private homes and contemporary office spaces, and is the brainchild of designer Peter J. Lassen. Since 2007, Montana has exclusively used water-based lacquer colours, which does not contain any solvents harmful to peaple or the environment. All the furniture in Montana is designed, developed, and made in Denmark. Every day, on the island of Funen over 140 professionals are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of processing, painting, and assembling making sure that each Montana piece lasts a lifetime. Montana System has earned the Danish Indoor Climate Label and is one of the earliest furniture brands in Europe to obtain the official EU Ecolabel certification.

Comprising 12 fixed compositions, the Montana Free shelving system is available with or without an inserted shelf. A stand-alone shelf that is effortlessly assembled and irresistibly movable. Jakob Wagner
established his studio in 1993 after earning degrees in Design-Engineering. Initially focused on high-tech products, he expanded into diverse design projects. His work has gained international acclaim and is showcased in the permanent exhibition at the MOMA in New York.
