Since 2007, Montana has exclusively used water-based lacquer colours, which does not contain any solvents harmful to peaple or the environment. All the furniture in Montana is designed, developed, and made in Denmark. Every day, on the island of Funen over 140 professionals are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of processing, painting, and assembling making sure that each Montana piece lasts a lifetime. Montana System has earned the Danish Indoor Climate Label and is one of the earliest furniture brands in Europe to obtain the official EU Ecolabel certification.
