Description

Inspired by the armor of ancient samurai, the Miya table collection, named after a renowned Japanese warrior, evolved from its initial concept. The design journey explored materials, simplifications and balances, ultimately transforming into a creation resembling a flower more than a warrior's armor.

Cappellini, founded in 1946 by Enrico Cappellini, is a renowned furniture brand known for embracing cutting-edge designs, fostering experimentation and redefining living concepts. Led by Giulio Cappellini's talent scouting, the company has recruited designers worldwide, showcasing an extraordinary intuition refined through years of experience.

Elena Salmistraro
designer and artist, founded her studio in 2009 after graduating from the Polytechnic of Milan. Her creations blend art and design, prioritizing the expressive language of objects that evoke emotions. Awarded and recognized internationally, she serves as an ambassador for Italian design.
