Description

The Carimate chair was originally designed in 1959 for the golf club of the same name in Milan. The design shows the character of the designer and the solid wood, which combined with the rope seat recalls the classic Italian style. A collector's piece that enhances style and comfort.

Vico Magistretti
Vico Magistretti is a son of an artist and a pupil of Ernesto Nathan Rogers. His name is linked to numerous buildings in Milan. The celebrity that arrived with the Ciam in 1959 caused a stir with his style that combines modernist and vernacular elements. He is still remembered as a gifted interior furniture designer.
