The Lily chair by Fritz Hansen is characterized by sinuous shapes and an elaborate design. The seat with backrest made of pressure-molded veneer, can be in lacquered walnut essence, or completely covered in leather or fabric. The tubular legs are in chromed steel.

The Lily chair was originally created by Arne Jacobsen for Danmarks Nationalbank, under the name Series 8. The elaborate design of the armless version does not compromise one of the main characteristics of Jacobsen's chairs: stackability.
