Born in 1970 in Reykjavik, Iceland, Gudmundur Ludvik Gretarsson relocated to Copenhagen in 1999 to pursue further studies and has since made Denmark his home. Gudmundur's diverse background mixes craftsmanship, arts, and design. It is firmly rooted in the rich tradition of Scandinavian craftsmanship. He currently operates his own studio in Vejle and is a partner at the design firm Welling/Ludvik Industrial Design in Copenhagen.
