The extended shape, elegant design and use of wood, fabric or leather combine to create Bridge, a functional, minimalist and comfortable upholstered bench created for COR by Uwe Fischer.

COR, a German company, was founded in the 1950s with the mission of producing high quality and eco-friendly furniture. The essence of "COR", which derives from the Latin word "heart", is reflected in the choice of durable materials such as wood, fabrics and leathers, carefully selected to ensure long life.

Design by Uwe Fischer
Uwe Fischer studied at the Design University of Offenbach and was co-founder of Ginbande Design in 1985. Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart, he works mainly on projects relating to design and architecture in Frankfurt am Main.

COR stands for a deep commitment to passion and craftsmanship. The COR Upholstered Furniture Factory, founded in 1954 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Germany, was born from the collaboration between Leo Lübke, representing his son Helmut Lübke and his Highness the Prince of Bentheim Tecklenburg. In the 1980s, full ownership of the company passed into the capable hands of the Lübke family. An unwavering dedication, love for environmental sustainability and exceptional quality have always been at the heart of COR's identity. This is evident in every aspect of their product range, from meticulously selected upholstery fabrics with quality raw materials, to long-lasting interiors. In the etymology of the name "COR" we discover the Latin word meaning "heart" and it is precisely this element that we rely on to give shape to our living spaces, since COR creations reflect the mirror of the most intimate affections.
