Description

The concept behind dAm Atelier's Vases is simple and yet extremely interesting: “A bronze cylinder moves by rolling until it crosses an obstacle", the obstacle is a travertine block which is carved in order to generate a hole on its top to house flowers.

dAM Atelier was established by Paolo d’Alessandro and Marco Malgarini. Their initial experimentation with sculptural forms became a part of larger architectural projects. This approach gradually transformed into a fertile testing ground for their artistic and architectural ideas.

Paolo d'Alessadro and Marco Malgarini studied at the esteemed Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio in Switzerland. This educational path significantly influenced their artistic exploration and technical skills. Each piece designed represents a skillful blend of conceptual depth, technical precision and artistic curiosity. The outcome is a collection that leaves viewers amazed.
