The Bau door handle by Olivari was created to enhance the contrast between different materials, which with their own technical characteristics work in synergy for a common purpose. Made according to the principles of the Bauhaus, it combines brass and three different marble finishes: white, gray and black.

The Bau collection includes door and window handles. Bau handle is the result of a project promoted by the Kober porcelain company. The original idea then evolved with the adoption of marble combined with brass. Strong materials, highlighted by simple geometric shapes and pure joints, where technology gives expression to craftsmanship.
Battista Olivari founded the company in 1911 in Borgomanero, Italy. Olivari is synonymous with innovation thanks, for example, to the introduction on the market of anodized aluminum handles and the first plastic handles. In the 2000s, sustainable and high-performance finishes such as Biochrome and Superfinish were born.
Studio Niruk was founded in 2011 near Cologne by Nina Ruthe and David Antoni, two designers who graduated from the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Germany. Their education and design style are heavily influenced by the Bauhaus tradition, keeping designs simple, functional and full of passion.
