Description

The idea behind Piero Lissoni's project is to create an exclusive collection that enhances the expressiveness of Ragusa stone, eliminating the monotony of repetitions, exploiting not only the small chromatic differences, but finding unexpected plays of shadows among the carvings.

Born in the heart of the Sicilian territory, Pietra Pece uses eco-sustainable extraction and manufacturing processes to create high quality products in Pietra Pece a calcarenite typical of the Ragusa area. Pietra Pece is a brand of Nerosicilia Group, a leading Italian company in the processing of lava stone, Pietra Pece (Ragusa stone) and recycled glass.

Italian architect, art director and designer Piero Lissoni founds, together with Nicoletta Canesi, the Lissoni Associati studio in Milan. The projects they deal with have an international character and focus on interior design, furniture products and lighting.
