Description
With Minimal, David Pompa pays homage to his Mexican origins. The chosen material is the beautiful Barro Negro ceramic, typical of Oaxaca, Mexico. The shiny finish is obtained through a special firing and the imperfections of the handwork give character to the final product.
KDLN was founded in Milan in 1996 and immediately stood out for its innovative spirit always looking for cutting-edge solutions. A careful selection of production partners has allowed KDLN to become a point of reference in design lighting in more than 70 countries worldwide.
David Pompa is an Austrian designer with Mexican ancestry on his father's side. After completing his studies in 2008 at Kingston University in London, he founded the "davidpoma studio" in Austria. Subsequently he moved to Oaxaca, Mexico, to study the working of the typical "barro negro" pottery.
