Battista Olivari founded the company in 1911 in Borgomanero, Italy. Olivari is synonymous with innovation thanks, for example, to the introduction on the market of anodized aluminum handles and the first plastic handles. In the 2000s, sustainable and high-performance finishes such as Biochrome and Superfinish were born.

Studio Olivari is the company's internal design studio created by Battista Olivari. It is a research activity center aimed at the development of new materials and innovative solutions. Studio Olivari boasts more than sixty years of experience in the design of handles.
