Description
The Stilo collection includes door and window handles, pull handles and doorstops. Mari reconsiders all the production and stylistic processes, returning to the logical basis of design. The shape itself obtained is a consequence of the logical scheme of the production process, which is entrusted to the most elementary process of mechanical technology: turning.
Battista Olivari founded the company in 1911 in Borgomanero, Italy. Olivari is synonymous with innovation thanks, for example, to the introduction on the market of anodized aluminum handles and the first plastic handles. In the 2000s, sustainable and high-performance finishes such as Biochrome and Superfinish were born.
Enzo Mari was a multifaceted artist and designer. He works in various architectural studios to support his studies at the Brera Academy, and in 1953 he exhibits his works in Milan. His projects are characterized by a strong technical approach, and range from children's books, table accessories, kitchen tools and more.
