The Uovo door handle by Olivari is the junction point between handle and knob. It is a historical product of the company, and innovative from the point of view of the casting technique with a sand core, which allows for a hollow and light element.

The Uovo handle can be fitted with a round or vertical rosette, or oval plate.

Made entirely of brass, it is available in various galvanic and PVD finishes.

Also available for windows with DK or Cremonese system.

Description

The Uovo collection includes door and window handles. Designed directly by Ambrogio Olivari, one of Battista's sons, it was inspired by a simple and combative shape: the egg. To obtain a solid and light product, he opted for shell casting with a sand core. This solution allows for a rigid and light body at the same time.

Battista Olivari founded the company in 1911 in Borgomanero, Italy. Olivari is synonymous with innovation thanks, for example, to the introduction on the market of anodized aluminum handles and the first plastic handles. In the 2000s, sustainable and high-performance finishes such as Biochrome and Superfinish were born.

Studio Olivari is the company's internal design studio created by Battista Olivari. It is a research activity center aimed at the development of new materials and innovative solutions. Studio Olivari boasts more than sixty years of experience in the design of handles.
