The Siena door handle by Olivari comes from research into the classic shapes of handles. Curves and proportions are designed to preserve traditional canons and translate them into the contemporary.

The Siena handle can be fitted with a round or vertical rosette, or oval plate.

Made entirely of brass, it is available in various galvanic and PVD finishes.

Also available for windows with DK or Cremonese system.

Description

The Siena collection includes door and window handles. As for the Orvieto handle, Siena was designed by Novelletto in collaboration with Roberto Volontero, owner of MAS Engineer Designer. The principle is the same for both, returning to the ergonomics of the forms of the past, while enhancing their style.

Battista Olivari founded the company in 1911 in Borgomanero, Italy. Olivari is synonymous with innovation thanks, for example, to the introduction on the market of anodized aluminum handles and the first plastic handles. In the 2000s, sustainable and high-performance finishes such as Biochrome and Superfinish were born.

Nicola Novelletto graduated from the Higher Institute of Artistic Industries in Rome. He had several collaborations with designers and manufacturing companies, as well as teaching activities as a professor of representation techniques. His work includes home accessories, faucets, handles, sports equipment and more.
