Description
The Sibilla collection includes door and window handles. Magistretti took the shape of a bone as a reference to create the first sketches of Sibilla. The cuts at the two ends have a different inclination to soline the asymmetry of the lever.
Battista Olivari founded the company in 1911 in Borgomanero, Italy. Olivari is synonymous with innovation thanks, for example, to the introduction on the market of anodized aluminum handles and the first plastic handles. In the 2000s, sustainable and high-performance finishes such as Biochrome and Superfinish were born.
Vico Magistretti is a son of an artist and a pupil of Ernesto Nathan Rogers. His name is linked to numerous buildings in Milan. The celebrity that arrived with the Ciam in 1959 caused a stir with his style that combines modernist and vernacular elements. He is still remembered as a gifted interior furniture designer
