Description

The Melanzana collection includes door and window handles, and central door knob. It is certainly a product outside the classic schemes, especially in its handle version. The name derives from the "aubergine", the fruit from which it takes its particular rounded shape.

Battista Olivari founded the company in 1911 in Borgomanero, Italy. Olivari is synonymous with innovation thanks, for example, to the introduction on the market of anodized aluminum handles and the first plastic handles. In the 2000s, sustainable and high-performance finishes such as Biochrome and Superfinish were born.

Luigi Caccia Dominioni was one of the most present and productive architects in the city of Milan. Author of numerous residential buildings, his style intertwines modern architecture and tradition. Many handles in brass, glass and resin, made especially for his projects, were then marketed.
