The Ala door handle by Olivari is the Surrealist representation of a wing, the representative element of lightness and freedom. The design is therefore essential, harmonious but schematized at the same time.

The Ala handle can be fitted with a round or vertical rosette, or oval plate.

Made entirely of brass, it is available in bright or satin chrome galvanic finishes.

Also available for windows with DK or Cremonese system.

Description

The Ala handle is the embodiment of bringing the concept of freedom into a real object. The reference is precisely the instrument in nature necessary for the gesture of flight, the wing, which has always been an icon of lightness and geometric perfection.

Battista Olivari founded the company in 1911 in Borgomanero, Italy. Olivari is synonymous with innovation thanks, for example, to the introduction on the market of anodized aluminum handles and the first plastic handles. In the 2000s, sustainable and high-performance finishes such as Biochrome and Superfinish were born.

Massimo Iosa Ghini was born in Bologna in 1959 and after studying architecture he founded the Bolidista movement that combines Italian Futurism, American streamlining and pop culture. His studio is currently collaborating with big names in product and design.
