Description

Lantern collection by Bomma brings to mind the traditional simplicity of Chinese lanterns, proposing and reinventing it with the transparent beauty of mouth-blown crystal. Available in three glass options, it is an ornamental object of great elegance both individually and in constellations.

Bomma is a company originally from a historic region of Bohemia renowned for its traditional glass manufacturing. Its handcrafted glass production blends history and scientific innovation. Their glassworks are in fact among the most advanced structures globally. Original collections for shapes, colors and materials are born, detached from conventional canons to create new ones.

Jan Plecháč and Henry Wielgus are two young designers who shared studies at the AAAD Prague (Academy of Arts Prague). In 2011 they founded the Studio Jan Plechac & Henry Wielgus, with works that transcend the conventional barriers between art, architecture and design. Their particular style has led them to obtain collaborations with international partners.
