Description

The Disc collection is inspired by the classic imagery of flying saucers, reproducing them with a minimalist design of mouth-blown glass. This soft and fluctuating shape diffuses light and reflections, especially in the version with silver glass.

Bomma is a company originally from a historic region of Bohemia renowned for its traditional glass manufacturing. Its handcrafted glass production blends history and scientific innovation. Their glassworks are in fact among the most advanced structures globally. Original collections for shapes, colors and materials are born, detached from conventional canons to create new ones.

The Olgoj Chorchoj studio was founded by Michal Froněk and Jan Němeček in 1990 during the workshop of the Vitra Design Museum, at that time architecture students at AAAD Prague. Focusing on industrial design, interior design and the reconstruction of historic buildings, they have become ambassadors of Czech design, influencing young talent in their country.
