Description

The Sydney armchair immediately recalls the well-known Australian city, and in particular the curved shapes of the beautiful Opera House. But this armchair has a very personal character, thanks to the backrest covered in leather instead of the classic leather typical of upholstered furniture, a historical reference to English and Colonial armchairs. This innovation generates a transition from "upholstery" to "saddlery", with curved and fan cutting techniques, necessary to cover the curved shapes.

The Covre company was founded in 1980 by the craftsman Giulio Covre and immediately managed to distinguish itself as a leader in leather processing. CASA COVRE is the very essence of Giuglio Covre's 40 years of "Made in Italy" experience handed down to his son Matteo.

Marina Bani graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1988. Since 1983, she has been involved in design, collaborating with some of the most important Italian and international companies, which has allowed her to develop a consolidated experience in product design and high-quality product engineering.
