Description

The Mistral sofa hides from its name a story particularly linked to the Italian territory and traditions. Mistral is in fact the name of the "Maestrale" the wind that crosses the coastal regions overlooking the northern Mediterranean where the "butteri" of the Maremma and the "guardians" of the Camargue supervise the herds on their horses. The inspiration for the sofa comes from the symbiosis between man and horse, the leather backrest is designed with the curves of the saddle in mind. Mistral is available both as a modular and non-modular sofa. The "Curve" version, in particular, has points of different depths in the seat.

The Covre company was founded in 1980 by the craftsman Giulio Covre and immediately managed to distinguish itself as a leader in leather processing. CASA COVRE is the very essence of Giuglio Covre's 40 years of "Made in Italy" experience handed down to his son Matteo.

Marina Bani graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1988. Since 1983, she has been involved in design, collaborating with some of the most important Italian and international companies, which has allowed her to develop a consolidated experience in product design and high-quality product engineering.
