Description

The Alfred bench originated from the conceptual framework of the eponymous bed, from which it drew its inspiration and design. The bench's solid wood base, which comes in Canaletto walnut, Sand-coloured ash, Wengé-coloured ash, or Greige-coloured ash, is further accentuated by leather inserts that are chosen by the customer. The bench's leather-covered feet add to its overall elegance and sophistication.The bench's seat is upholstered in a choice of fabric or leather and is composed of a single volume of polyurethane with varying densities. Its refined design and finishes elevate it to the status of a truly sophisticated object, which can furnish any sleeping area with a classic and timeless theme.

Frigerio was established in 1938 by Federico Frigerio in Mariano Comense, located in the renowned Brianza. The company is driven by the commitment of the founding family, now led by the second and third generations.
Frigerio balances modern technology with traditional manufacturing methods and carefully selects raw materials, such as leather, fabric, wood, metal and padding, based on strict criteria.

Umberto Asnago
born in 1949, honed his skills at the Art Institute of Cantù before joining Giorgetti and eventually heading their Research Center. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with several notable companies. In 2019, he began a new partnership with Frigerio, resulting in a captivating line of furnishings that showcase his mastery of solid wood and leather. Asnago is a dedicated professional, keeping pace with the rapidly evolving furniture industry.
