Description

MMairo presents an exquisite selection of tableware, including dishes, trays, centerpieces and other accessories. Combining a passion for good food and the timeless beauty of marble, these pieces are perfect for the kitchen: pure, smooth and easy to clean.

MMairo, named after the Greek verb marmairo meaning “to shine”, honors marble's artistic heritage. Founded in Carrara in 2016, the company made high-quality marble objects in Tuscany, meticulously hand-finished by local artisans. MMairo works with various international designers to create unique items like vases, centerpieces, tableware, lamps and tables.

Karen Chekerdjian
Her journey to design was unconventional, shaped by various creative experiences. In 1997, she moved to Milan to pursue a master’s in industrial design at DOMUS Academy, studying under Massimo Morozzi, founder of Archizoom. She later worked with him at EDRA, where he was Art Director. Her work has been featured in museums, galleries and fairs globally.
