Glide Shanghai is a partition system designed by Piero Lissoni and Iaco Design Studio for Porro, combining the transparency of glass with a refined striped pattern. The slats, applied with artisan precision, create an elegant see-through effect, enriching spaces with contrasts of light and shadow.

Vertical slats in extruded aluminum, available in 3 widths, powder-coated or veneered

Tempered glass, single thickness or laminated

Frame in powder-coated extruded aluminum

NB: In the case of veneered slats, any chromatic irregularities and variations in the grain pattern should be considered a feature of the wood’s natural characteristics and the craftsmanship of the manufacturing process

Description

Porro introduces the Glide System, designed by Piero Lissoni and Iaco Design Studio, a range of versatile and integrated partitions. Defined by a minimalist design and rich materials, these custom panels feature an L-shaped painted metal profile framing transparent and opaque surfaces. The top track ensures visual continuity, offering sliding, fixed, or pivoting solutions that can be combined for unique layered effects.

Porro is an Italian furniture brand known for combining traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation, offering minimalist designs with premium materials. Piero Lissoni
