The Gap wall-mounted bookcase, designed by Carlo Tamborrini for Porro, is a sculptural piece that develops vertically. It offers a valuable and versatile solution thanks to its compact dimensions, bringing light and spectacular style to any space in the home.

The light source is provided by the integrated LED strip that runs along its perimeter

The intensity of the LED light can be adjusted via a smartphone app

It consists of a backdrop, thin shelves and an outer metal frame

Two precious metal finishes are available: rosso cina and grigio piombo

Carlo Tamborrini
He is born in Milan, Italy, began his career as a freelance designer after studying at the Istituto Europeo di Design. He joined Studio Lissoni Associati in 1997, where he is now the Design Manager. Co-founding Codice 31 in 1998, he has worked for important brands, including his collaboration with Porro starting in 2018 on the Gap wall-mounted bookcase.
