Description

The Lullaby lounge chair by Nicola Gallizia for Porro pays homage to the Bauhaus principles of functionalism and formal purity, blending artisanal craftsmanship with industrial production. Its name evokes the shape of the wooden legs (“L”) and the rocking motion (“U”) for which it’s designed.

Porro is an Italian furniture brand known for combining traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation, offering minimalist designs with premium materials. Their versatile, sophisticated creations, often in collaboration with renowned designer, are ideal for both residential and commercial spaces.

Nicola Gallizia
Born in Milan, studied architecture at the Milan Polytechnic. From 1990 to 1999, he collaborated with Luca Meda, focusing on image and product development. Since 1999, he has worked as a consultant in image and product design. In 2003, Gallizia took on the role of artistic director, overseeing graphic projects, product catalogs, exhibition stands, and shop designs, while continuing to offer his expertise in image and product development.
