The Shiraz modular sofa designed by Philipp Mainzer  and Farah Ebrahimi, is inspired by the traditional Persian seating islands and classic seating furniture of Western lounges, promoting a sense of open communication. The structure is made of solid beech wood and plywood, with the seat in polyether foam with laminated polyester foam covering and a removable backrest in wood polyether and polyester foam.

Available with 380 mm (15 inches) or 480 mm (18 3/8 inches) seat height

Various backrests can be combined with different seating elements

Seating elements can be joined using the e15 sofa connector

All fabric covers are removable, except for leather

e15, a leading family-owned European interiors company based in Frankfurt, Germany, was founded in 1995 by architect Philipp Mainzer and designer Farah Ebrahimi. The brand is renowned for its high-quality materials, innovative designs and commitment to sustainability.

Philipp Mainzer 
Born in Germany, he studied product design at Central Saint Martins and architecture at the Architectural Association in London. Co-founder of e15, he is now its creative director and CEO.

Farah Ebrahimi
Is the Art Director of e15 and a key member of the team. Born in Iran, she studied art and fashion at the Otis/Parsons School of Art and Design in Los Angeles, graduating in 1987. In 1999, working as a Design Director in New York, she met her future husband and work partner Philipp Mainzer.
