The Bamboo Forest collection by Brokis draws inspiration from the vertical contours rising up in stands of bamboo. It is featuring different sizes and varying node positions on the stalks. Compositions of multiple lights transform interiors into sanctuaries, evoking the soothing tranquility of a natural bamboo forest.

The Czech premium lighting brand Brokis stands for the synthesis of exquisite design, superior quality, and the remarkable craftsmanship of Bohemian glass artisans. The company acquired Janštejn Glassworks in 1997 inheritating their craftmanship and know-how. Mouth-blown glass combined with classic materials such as wood and metal, or unusual ones such as concrete, create always innovative designs.

Fumie Shibata
She is a professor at Musashino Art University and served as the Judging Committee Chair for the 2018-2019 Good Design Awards. She is also the author of the book ‘Forms within Forms’. Design Studio S has received numerous awards for excellence in design, including the iF Gold Award and the Design for Asia Top, Culture and the Gold Awards.
